The Saint-Tropez peninsula

The Saint-Tropez peninsula

The Saint-Tropez peninsula includes several communities. Every single one of them is a jewel of French's way of life. They still have an old town core, which usually can not be reached by car, simply because the roads were not designed for this type of locomotion. But each of these villages is so beautiful that it is worth spending an afternoon by strolling through the winding streets. Just enjoy the fronts of the houses with lovely flowers. Then maybe have a coffee in a bistro or write a postcard in the shadow of a pine tree.
The villages impress not only with fantastic views, but also with cultural offer.

Saint-Tropez is the smallest commune on the peninsula. Nevertheless it is the most important village for the tourism and the empony.

To this community belongs to the famous beach "Pampelonne" with its famous clubs. It is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of the Cote D'Azur.

Gassin was awarded by the association Les Plus Beaux Villages de France as one of the most beautiful villages in France and enjoys a wonderful location.

La Croix Valmer is probably the most inconspicuous of the communities on the peninsula of Saint-Tropez, but with its 369m above sea level is the highest point.
